" Gite LASCANNES"
In 2001, Claire & Jean-Louis de Montesquiou refurbished an old farmhouse on the Domaine d’Espérance: « Lascannes », which means "the burrows" in Gascon.
We have been awarded “4 épis" (best comfort) by the Gîtes de France organization.
The cottage lies on 94 m2 (with the terrace). It is located on the vineyard next to our woods.
The view on the Douze valley and the absolute calmness makes it an exceptionnal place for a good country rest.
The cottage can welcome 4 people in two bedrooms. ( 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds). You will also enjoy a kitchen/dining room, a living room, a bathroom, a WC, a storage room, a wood shed and a shaded terrace
There is an insert fire place in the living room and electrical heating as well in each room.
It is nicely furnished, respecting the style of Gascon farms in the XIXth century.
Equiped with :
dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave, television and all the required kitchenware.
All you need for a perfect stay.
Activities :
One can walk along the paths of the 150 ha domain, take advantage of the nature and the different types of crops or take advantage of the woods and the two lakes.
Each new guest can visit the wine and armagnac cellars… Each new guest is given 2 bottles of our wine and a sample of armagnac.
